Michael Berkowitz grew up in the suburbs outside of Northeast Philadelphia. He graduated college from Penn State University – Abington and graduated law school from Widener University School of Law – Wilmington.
Michael’s passion for being a personal injury attorney came from his years working in his father’s medical office. While working in the office, he would talk to the patients on a regular basis, most of whom were involved in personal injury accidents. From these conversations, he got a true sense of the suffering these patients went through for months and even years following their accidents. From the experience of working at his father’s medical office, Michael knew he wanted to represent those injured in accidents.
Prior to working at Solnick Lawyers, Michael worked as an attorney at another personal injury firm where he represented those injured mostly in automobile accidents, slip-and-fall accidents, trip-and-fall accidents, and dog bite accidents.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys going to the gym, watching his Philadelphia sports teams, and hanging out with friends and family.
