Jay Solnick has decades of experience fighting for the rights of individuals who have suffered injuries due to the wrongful actions and mistakes of others.

He focuses his legal practice on a full spectrum of personal injury and insurance claims, representing his injured clients in negotiating settlements as well as by litigating their cases in the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He has successfully represented personal injury victims against individual defendants, insurance companies, multinational corporations, and government agencies.

In addition to his vast experience as a plaintiff’s lawyer, Jay spent the early years of his career working for insurance companies defending cases brought by injured accident victims; this has given him valuable insight into the perspectives and strategies employed by insurance companies and other corporations which evaluate and defend against personal injury cases.

Jay’s philosophy is that his clients are his partners in the pursuit of justice and fair compensation for their injuries.

While he provides sound and candid advice to his clients, and develops winning strategies for their cases, he does so by listening to their stories, learning about their lives, and understanding their injury-based frustrations, concerns, and problems. Jay strongly believes that developing trust with his clients and keeping them involved and informed leads to the best possible results for each client. He values getting to know his clients and their families and works hard to make life better for them during difficult times. Jay understands the impact and toll that unexpected injuries can have and the everyday challenges that his injured clients face. He also understands some of the frustrations and concerns that people sometimes experience in dealing with lawyers and he places great importance on making sure his clients understand the factors which affect their cases without undue formality or arrogance.

Jay is the proud father of two young women, one a student at Temple University in Philadelphia and the other a student at Elon University in North Carolina. Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, he is a lifelong fan of all Philadelphia sports teams. In particular, Jay is a dedicated booster and fan of Temple University’s athletic programs, especially the basketball and football teams which he supports through thick and thin, just as he does his clients. Jay currently resides in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania with his wife and five dogs. In addition to attending sporting events and following the teams he supports, Jay enjoys spending time with family and friends, music, exploring the philosophical questions that strike his interest at any given time and, when possible, unwinding on a tropical beach with the sun beating down on him.
