Attorney Jay Solnick
Jay Solnick earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Brandeis University in Boston, Massachusetts and a law degree from Temple University School of Law.
Jay has extensive experience litigating a wide variety of cases and claims in the state and federal courts of southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The insight and experience gained throughout his career, including the years which he spent handling insurance defense cases, are now utilized to the benefit of his clients in pursuing their claims. Jay’s practice is focused in the areas of personal injury, insurance claims, and other matters involving the rights of individuals.
Jay is the proud father of two young girls and is an avid supporter of Temple University’s athletic programs as a member of the Temple University Owl Club Executive Board.

Attorney Jason Strand
Jason Strand graduated from Herzing University in Madison, Wisconsin, with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology in 2005. Following his undergraduate education, Jason supported the management structure of the global Information Technology service desk for a major Pharmaceutical corporation. After working in the Information Technology field for several years he returned to school and attended Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware, spending one semester at Southwest University of Political Science and Law in Chongqing, China. Jason earned his Juris Doctor from Widener in 2013.
Jason has been working in the area of personal injury since 2015 and brings the experience and knowledge he has learned over the years from his current and prior career to better serve his clients.

Kelly A. Kosmalski
Prior to joining Solnick & Associates, Kelly worked in the legal field since 1987 as a legal assistant, paralegal and office coordinator. Kelly’s experience, passion for her work and her ongoing efforts to further her education in both the legal field and business management have made her well-equipped to handle her many job responsibilities, which include financial and facilities management and overseeing the firm’s human resources and marketing departments. Kelly graduated Magna Cum Laude from Philadelphia University where she majored in Business Administration and Human Resources. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Association of Legal Administrators. Kelly enjoys traveling, reading, going to concerts and sports events and spending time with her family and friends.
Eric is a graduate of Temple University acquiring a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science in 2010. Prior to joining Solnick & Associates, Eric worked in the legal field since 2008 as a legal assistant, paralegal and law clerk. Working the entirety of his professional career on the plaintiff’s side of the legal world, he understands the detail and dedication it takes to bring a personal injury case to full fruition. In 2011, he entered Widener University School of Law to pursue his dream of becoming an attorney. A dedicated family man, Eric devotes his free time learning his wife’s native languages: Ukrainian and Russian. Eric also is a long time Philadelphia resident and is an avid Eagles and Flyers fan.
Stephanie joined Solnick & Associates in the Summer of 2016 as our part-time file clerk. Her passion for learning the legal industry and her desire to help our clients quickly moved her into a Paralegal position where she assists Jay Solnick and other associates. Stephanie graduated in the top 15 of her class from Penn State Abington in 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in English. After graduating, she spent the Summer in New York City where she attended New York University’s Summer Publishing Program where she learned from the industry’s top professionals. Stephanie currently resides in her hometown of Philadelphia and enjoys filling her free time with friends, family, and reading.
Amanda joined Solnick & Associates in May of 2017 after graduating from Temple University with a bachelor’s degree in Linguistics. She joined the team as the file clerk and now works as a pre-litigation paralegal. Amanda spends the day working and learning as much as possible at Solnick & Associates and spends her free time with her friends and family in her hometown of Philadelphia. She enjoys reading books and watching movies.
Mitch has been a paralegal for 8 years and has experience working with the plaintiff and the defense side. This experience helps him to understand how to prepare the very best case for the Solnick & Associate client. Mitch was born and grew up in Oklahoma, and has a Bachelor’s Degree in communications and journalism from Oklahoma City University. He is a recent Philadelphia transplant and is enjoying getting to know and love his new hometown. In his time off, Mitch enjoys reading, bicycling, and being around his friends — canine and human.

Bo Hyung Kim
Bo has been with the firm since 2011 and is responsible for coordinating client files and interpreting for our Korean clients. Her main focus at Solnick & Associates, LLC is helping our clients understand the process of their case and fulfill their needs. She studied at Penn State University where she majored in Human Development and Early Childhood Education. Originally from South Korea, Bo currently resides in Abington, PA with her husband and enjoys watching television, traveling and fitness.
Theresa joined the firm in 2014 as an experienced Receptionist. Theresa’s main focus is to cover our busy front desk throughout the day by making sure our clients are treated with the utmost respect and the very best service to suit their individual needs. Theresa makes sure to answer and transfer all calls in a caring and professional manner along with managing all incoming mail, deliveries, and faxes while maintaining a welcome environment for our clients. Theresa resides in Philadelphia and has three sons. Theresa loves spending time with her family, watching movies and going out to eat.
